Proverbs 3:5-8, 13 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones. Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding.
Proverbs 13:10 – By insolence comes nothing but strife, but with those who take advice is wisdom.
Proverbs 14:17 – A man of quick temper acts foolishly, and a man of evil devices is hated.
Ephesians 4:26 – Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger.
